Mongolian on MAC OS X

If you want to display Unicode Mongolian on Mac OS X， you need AAT type Mongolian Font.
In this site, we are providing AAT type Mongolian Fonts, can support Unicode 3.0 standards.
If you use these AAT font, you can display Unicode Mongolian on Mac OS X and iOS devices. (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch etc.)

The Mongolian Editor

    The Unicode Mongolian Supporting status of the Editor on Mac OS X, we can group them into following three groups.
    1) The Editors support Unicode Mongolian Verticcal Line mode
    2) The editors only support Vertical but the line feed is from right to left.
    3) The Editors only support Mongolian Horizantal line mode

On Mac OS X system, We have not seen any editor can support Mongolian Vertical line editing mode yet.

MnglPad develoed using Java Swing techniques by Almas Inc. can support Mongolian Vertical Line editing mode. Because this editor is developped by Java Language, can be hoped to run on Mac OS X. The MnglPad will be released on this site soon. Please wait and check the status regularly.

The editors only support Vertical but the line feed is from right to left.

There are a lot of this kind of editors and applications, which can support the Mongolian vertical line displaying but the line feed is right to left. It is the Chinese and Japanese Vertical line mode. On Mac OS X we can use TextEdit,iTextExprss,OpenOffice Calc, OpenOffice Impress by default installation.
